Johanna is a young girl who was born a member of the second generation after the Holocaust. She lives in the same apartment where the Gestapo had come to take her family away. Her sketchy memory of this time is made from photographs and, more directly, from her relationship with her grandparents - an Ashkenazi grandmother and a Sephardic grandfather. There is a paradox that emerges between this history, and the history which came afterwards - the history of Israel and of the perception of the Holocaust during the nineties. The testimony of Johanna is completely reinacted by the artist, Eleonore Saintagnan.
